-the blue whale, rarest of all sea creatures, emerges from the depths for it’s annual photoshoot and appreciation party.
Unused to the attention, the mighty beast activates a unique cloaking feature, before quickly returning to it’s oceanic lair, not to be seen for the next 365 days.
Below, you’ll see last year’s sighting, circa 2017. Simply stunning. Truly a captivatingly beautiful specimen.

Where do you keep her? Do you really have three parking spots (or do you keep the work truck elsewhere)?

If you need a car that does many things, that’s it.

Yep. Trucks and work gear are at a separate location and the Subaru/Miata made do with the single reserved spot and the available guest parking

That is the truth. Despite its size, it’s even easy to get around the city thanks to the fantastic visibility in all directions.
If it was manual and/or had seats that I could stand for more than twenty minutes at a time, it would probably get a lot more love from me.

Ugh I need to wash my car so bad but it keeps precipitating and the city keeps salting the roads. At some point I’m going to have to say fuck it, wash it, and immediately get it dirty again. Today might be that day even though it snowed the past couple days, because I have the garage this week and it’s my night off from the gym so I can hit the wash on my way home and then park inside where the car won’t turn into an icicle.

I’ve been looking at older Legacys/Outbacks for my next car. 2700lb tow capacity is enough to pull my 2000lb Corolla track car on a 400lb two wheel dolly, yet fun enough to not kill my soul for daily driving. Legacy GT wagon would be my ideal, but a decent manual Outback would be good too.

You do NOT want to tow that much with a non-turbo 2.5 Subaru. It will do it, but you will cook something. Either the clutch, the auto, or the cooling system. The H6 is far more suited.

Oh hey! My blue whale is going to need a cleaning soon too. Lots of salty roads lately

I’d say I feel your pain but.... Don’t have to deal with road salt over here. Didn’t actually realize how bad it was until seeing Crazy Kanucks before and after pictures when he got his car detailed.

If you get an auto (Cvt) there will be zero fun. Just fair warning. Still a good car... But yeah fun it is not. Grab a manual Baja for maximum awesomeness

Want to swap? I swear, the CVT is a lot of fun

Hmmm.... that’s a tough one

3 pedals for me.

You could probably get 2 front seats for cheap - the manual swap would be a LOT more.
